Yang Dayun is a pioneering authority in China's fashion industry for brand acquisitions and mergers. He has successfully executed strategic and investment acquisition services in fashion consumption, lifestyle, sports, luxury goods, and cosmetics-related brand activities for an extended period. With over RMB 41 billion in executed investment transactions, he has published a total of 26 books on fashion industry management with 4 million characters from 2002-2012. He has also contributed to the strategic planning and execution of 38 listed textile and apparel companies. Since 2012, he has focused on global fashion enterprise strategic planning, investment mergers and acquisitions, post-investment management, and value-added services. He has participated in equity investments of 16 renowned foreign brand companies, successfully completing two foreign IPOs. As a board member, he has been involved in the post-investment management of the French luxury group SMCP (Sandro, Maje, and Claude Pierlot) and Trinity Group (Cerruti 1881, Kent & Curwen, and Gieves & Hawkes), demonstrating extensive experience in international brand strategic planning, operation management, and capital operations. Recognized as the "most influential expert in brand strategy and investment management in China's fashion industry", Yang Dayun is committed to building global Chinese brands and shaping "future-oriented enterprises and brands".

In 2000, China's fashion industry witnessed a period of rapid growth fueled by a vibrant market demand that drove a significant increase in consumer spending. In this incremental market, the greatest challenge for Chinese enterprises was the lack of systematic retail management experience and theoretical knowledge. As forward-thinking companies began to focus on establishing brand presence, international brands and fast fashion giants entered the Chinese market, necessitating enhanced competitiveness through learning. In this context, the 26 specialized books served as a "catalyst" to support Chinese fashion businesses in gaining time and sustaining competitive advantages, earning Yang Dayun the title of "Fashion Management Guru".
